Faith, Hope and Charity

by Barbara Buttery
'The Bard of Sneinton'

I am a Forest Supporter,
One of a large, faithful band.
The rough lot sit in the A-block
The posh ones are in the main stand.
We all hate the Ref,
He's blind and he's deaf.
We call him by names that are crude,
But when our team's winning
He's no longer sinning,
Why, then he's a real cool dude!
Yes, I'm a Forest supporter,
One of a large faithful band.
We follow our team thro' thick and thro' thin
'Cos we know its the best in the land!
