On the ground
I stand
On my own two feet
On my hand
I hold
The Money
I Earn
At the table
I eat
The food
I prepare
By my side
Here stand
The Children
I raise
All around me
I see
A world I've built
A society I've fashioned
A future I nurture
In my heart
I bathe
The wounds of my yesterday
But in my mind
I hold the key
Of a brand new tomorrow-
FOR I AM WOMAN!
